A Woodcutter's Axe

The Poacher's Axe is a special woodcutter's axe that is found within Halted Stream Camp. It has the unique enchantment Huntsman's Prowess, which does an additional three points of damage to animals (see Bugs). Tempering the Poacher's Axe requires a steel ingot. While it has a unique enchantment and name, the Poacher's Axe can still be used to chop wood like a normal woodcutter's axe.

Notes

• The Poacher's Axe is the only Woodcutter's Axe that can be improved at a grindstone, though the Arcane Smithing perk must be unlocked first.

Bugs

• The axe has an enchantment charge of 0, which results in the enchantment not actually working.
