In The Elder Scrolls: Castles, the subjects who can inhabit your castle are divided into the standard ten races of Tamriel.

Argonian[edit]

Argonians are a race of reptilian beings from the southeastern province of Black Marsh.

Breton[edit]

Bretons are a people of human and elven ancestry found in the province of High Rock.

Dark Elf[edit]

Dark Elves, or Dunmer, are the grey-skinned people of Morrowind, land of the Red Mountain.

High Elf[edit]

"High Elves, or Altmer, are the noblest of all elvenkind. Their homeland is the Empire's main rival.

Imperial[edit]

Imperials are the people from the province of Cyrodiil, at the heart of the Empire.

Khajiit[edit]

The Khajiit are a race of cat-like people mainly found in the southern province of Elsweyr.

Nord[edit]

Nords are a hardy people that come from the province of Skyrim, on the northern shores of Tamriel.

Orc[edit]

Orcs, or Orsimer, are Elves who were cursed by a Daedric Prince. They have long struggled to establish their homeland.

Redguard[edit]

Redguards, the last race to settle Tamriel, have long ruled over the province of Hammerfell.

Wood Elf[edit]

Wood Elves, or Bosmer, are the wildest of the Elves, many of which still hide in the forests of Valenwood.

  • The game contain a collective race "Elves", which has a description: [verification needed — whether it is used somewhere in the game, or unused]
Elves include the noble High Elves, the sylvan Wood Elves, and the fiery Dark Elves.
