Black Marsh, the homeland of the Sarpa
Sarpa are a breed and tribe of Argonian that live in the inner parts of Black Marsh, close to the Hist.[1][2] Sarpa have some distinct differences in their appearance compared to the Argonians most commonly seen throughout Tamriel,[2] as they are described as winged. They and several of the other Middle Argonia tribes are reputed to kill outsiders.[1]
- A winged Argonian, Red-Rock-Shadow, was introduced into the War of the Wormgod role-playing campaign by Ted Peterson. As a prior RP was also the debut of the Naga Argonians, it is likely this Argonian was meant to be of (or inspired) the Sarpa. In the RP, Ted Peterson describes her as having large leathery wings, and being capable of flight.[UOL 1]
