Morrowind talk:Khajiit
"You'll never find another race better fit to steal things, though."
Why was this removed? It certainly seems to be themed for stealth and theft judging by its skill bonuses. Organous 22:40, 15 February 2007 (EST)
- Because Khajiit are not thieves, their culture doesn't even have a word or concept for a "thief", Khajiit naturally share their stuff usually and don't mind each other borrowing them (Since Khajiit tend to think in a group mentality with little sense of individual). If a khajiit takes someone elses possesions it's usually a cultural mis-understanding rather than desire for that person's belongings like human culture. Although there is plenty of evidence of war-time raiding, but that has a different mindset (Subverting an enemies materials for your own benefit)
- Their stats support being a good thief, but their character mentality does not support it --Ryuujin 10:39, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm aware of that, and I did not intend to call it a race of thieves or otherwise immoral. I was purely speaking from the perspective of the player, that the Khajit is an excellent race to choose if you wish to play primarily as a thief. Organous 09:37, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
- Personally, on the subject of the removed sentence, I agree that no other in-game race is so well suited to theivery, should one want to play that way. If the sentence were on Lore:Khajiit, I'd say to remove it. -Somercy 12:23, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
khajiit and skooma[edit]
Where are some Khajiit traders with the unofficial patch I can sell up to 1.75 times worth its value. I only know of the trader merchant in Balmora. Like is there a khajiit trader value of say 1000 or more. with skooma worth 500 I would need a merchant with 875 — Unsigned comment by Mrp8196 (talk • contribs) on 13 April 2009
- There's a full list of alchemy merchants here but your best bet for selling Skooma is Creeper. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 01:37, 13 April 2009 (EDT)
patch merchants[edit]
when you add the patch among other things it cuts down on the crashing and also changes the amount you can sell stuff to merchants who cares about selling for 100% when you can sell for 150% to 175% and buy for like 30%. Also they don't wear the items you sell to em. Without the patch merchant skill behaved weird it was like as you gain merchant skill your sell value decreased should it be the other way around
Shoes[edit]
I don't know if it needs to be mentioned, but probably due to oversight, when you start as a Khajiit, the game includes shoes among the starting clothing, despite the fact you cannot wear them. Halfstache 05:01, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
