Weye is a farmhouse in the village of Weye, occupied by Aelwin Merowald.
The house is a messy, low-class affair with clothing scattered about the floor. One of the four rare beggar's shirts can be found in front of the fireplace to the left as you enter. Exception made for a large stockpile of flour, there is not much of note. While the majority of barrels, crates, and sacks contain the usual food and clutter, the chest in the southwestern corner holds a few gold coins—Aelwin's retirement fund. It can only be opened with a key made available for pickpocketing after you complete the related quest and ask Aelwin "Where are your savings?" with a high enough disposition.
Notes[edit]
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch changed this house's name to "Aelwin Merowald's House".
- This building might have originally been the site of Chestnut Handy Stables, as evidenced by the fact that the Chestnut Handy faction owns it and the fact that the XMarker reference outside the building is named
WeyeStablesEast
.- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 3.3.0, fixes this bug.
