Zahrasha, killed

Zahrasha is a Khajiit mage who resides in Wellspring Cave together with Eletta. Both are trying to live a peaceful life outside of the Mages Guild, practicing their magic both in the cave and on the sacred island of Wellspring Grove. During the A Mage's Staff quest, you are supposed to meet up with them for advice on crafting your very first staff. But something has gone horribly wrong...

Sadly, the dead body of Zahrasha will be the first thing you locate when you enter the cave, which has been invaded by Necromancers led by Noveni Othran, whom you will encounter when you enter Wellspring Grove.

She wore a russet felt outfit, as well as a pair of matching shoes. On her body, you will find the Wellspring Cave key and a leveled amount of gold. Just like Eletta, when she was alive, she preferred spells over weapons and could cast a set of leveled mage spells.

When you return to the Arcane University with the sad news, Raminus Polus will understandably be shocked: "Eletta and Zahrasha dead? I can't believe it! They've never been so bold before now. Always hiding in the shadows, staying away from the guild. What could have prompted this?"

Notes

• It is possible, with a very high Acrobatics skill, to jump over the invisible barriers surrounding the island. In this case, Zahrasha will greet you by saying "Wellspring Grove is owned by the Mages Guild. You're not a member, so I'm afraid you're not supposed to be here."
• Both Zahrasha and Eletta can be found alive before the quest is initiated. They will walk around the Grove, chatting with each other. When the related quest is initiated, the "live" version of Zahrasha is removed from the game and replaced by the corpse you find in the cave.
