Martin's voice actor

Did you know that Martin was voiced by one of the cast from Lord of The Rings? It was the redhead (no, not Gimly the dwarf!) who died in the first film. I can't remember the name of the actor, could somone tell me please?

Update: Never mind! I found out on another site, he's voiced by Sean Bean.

Good point. It's also redundant simply because we're on an Oblivion page. I changed the tense as well while I was there—you could argue that it's appropriate because the voicing is over and done with, but if you're talking to Martin currently, it seems a little odd to say he was voiced by Sean Bean...it makes it sound like either Martin or Sean are dead, which is certainly not the case. – Robin Hood↝talk 22:09, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Disappearance

Hello!

I was playing Oblivion earlier today and something strange happened. I was just starting the Light the Dragonfires quest, where the player is supposed to escort Martin to the Imperial City. I left him outside Bruma, near an Oblivion gate and the stable. I didn't end that quest at that moment, I did another ones before actually beginning Light the Dragonfires. When I selected that quest as my active one, I went back to Bruma, where I left Martin, but he had disappeared. I went to each other city in hopes that he had followed me to them, but it was in vain. At the Imperial City, I can't do anything since he is not with me, thus the conversation with Ocato can't start (he says that Martin needs to be with me).

Is there anything to solve this issue? I desperately want some help, specially because it's my only saved game (if there's no other way, I'll just delete it and start the game from beginning).

I doubt he's still waiting for an answer after six years, but if anyone else was wondering, he should be in the Cloud Ruler Temple stables, as it says in the Light the Dragonfires page.Blowthemandown (talk) 21:06, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
