Flora?[edit]

Technically, clams aren't flora. Why are the article and image categorised as such? --Nocte|Chat|Look 03:36, 5 August 2013 (GMT)

Well the reason why isn't that tough, they are effectively no different from a plant in-game. The real question is should we keep it as flora, or should we change the name so that we don't look foolish. Jeancey (talk) 03:40, 5 August 2013 (GMT)
I think we need to change it. But I know not to what. --Nocte|Chat|Look 03:42, 5 August 2013 (GMT)
I've changed the trail from 'Ingredients' to 'Miscellaneous Items' to match with our categorisation of pearls, but I've left the 'Flora' category intact. Unless we want to make a category for containers or miscellaneous objects, I think it's fine to leave as-is. —Legoless (talk) 14:24, 9 November 2013 (GMT)

Clams can occasionally not be interacted with?[edit]

I found a clam outside the Imperial Prison Sewer right at the beginning of the game, and I couldn't interact with it in any way. Later, I was able to loot it and store items in it. I originally tried for a number of minutes, but to no avail. I don't know exactly what caused it but it might be something worth noting on the wiki. If I can reproduce it, I'll make a note of it.

For anybody wanting to try themselves, the RefID of the clam is 000a7bdb. You can check easily by typing player.moveto 000a7bdb in the console. — Unsigned comment by 209.213.47.25 (talk) at 22:50 on 3 April 2025 (UTC)

Can't say I've ever had this issue, I have always been able to loot all the clams there. —Legoless (talk) 08:39, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
