Can't find his dead body in the quest?

So I've been searching for a long time and I still can't find his dead body where I'm supposed to loot. It says here that the glitch has been patched, since I explored this cave before I started this quest. You could try the suggestion provided on the quest page for the glitch you mentioned (if you're playing on the PC) and also to make sure you're looking in the right location for the body and have progressed through the quest properly. Otherwise, you could try another save file if possible. Even if you cannot complete the quest, the reward is not that great and it does not play much of a role on anything else in the game.
