Alit

Alits are ferocious animals, closely related to kagouti, that are native to Morrowind. They can also be found in Shadowfen, Grahtwood, Khenarthi's Roost and Northern Elsweyr. Alits are perhaps best described as "mouths on legs" by Bolga gra-Bur in her book.

Skills and Abilities

Alit attack using their teeth and claws, and may inflict the "Bleeding" effect, which does minor physical damage over time.

Bite

A basic melee attack that deals minor physical damage.

Lacerate

The alit jumps up and slashes their target with its feet, dealing moderate physical damage, applying the "Bleeding" effect and staggering them. Blocking sets the alit off-balance and prevents the stagger and the "Bleeding" effect from being applied.

Surround

The alit positions itself on a different side from the target.

Block

The alit blocks with its head, reducing damage taken. Perform a melee heavy attack while it is blocking staggers and puts its target off-balance.

Backstabber

The alit has a passive ability that causes it to deal 20% more damage when attacking the target's back.

Generic, unnamed alits can be encountered in various places across Tamriel, including delves, dungeons, and DLC content. These alits have varying stats, namely health. Below is a list of alits, categorized by location, difficulty and health.

Notes

• The alits found in Elden Hollow I are considerably larger than those usually found elsewhere.
