Athdar

Athdar is a Redguard who can be found in front of the Stonevault Repository in Markarth. He is here with his brother Tahzim and their hired guard, Nevaen. He appears if you've started The Despot of Markarth.

Until A Feast of Souls, Athdar directs you to speak with his brother.

"I'm not sure how long we'll be in Markarth. I do miss Hammerfell, though."

"You probably want to talk to my brother, Tahzim. He's the one in charge."

"Our guide, Nevaen? She's actually rather nice. Everyone says the Reachfolk are all barbarians, but I don't think that's true."

When you return to Markarth during A Feast of Souls, you will learn that the Gray Host invaded, slaughtering many. Athdar can be found dead on the streets of Markarth next to Tahzim and Nevaen.

After you defeat Rada al-Saran during Kingdom of Ash, you will return to the city to find that all those slain during the Gray Host's invasion were resurrected. Athdar is among them, and has relocated with Neavan westwards across Markarth. He can no longer be spoken to.
