Auridon Marine Follower

After you completed Real Marines, Captain Tendil will send one of his soldiers to accompany you in finding the traitor. As such, he will follow you around until the culprit is found and killed. If you leave Silsailen before completing your task, he'll tell you he's staying behind:

Auridon Marine: "I'm staying here till Silsailen is safe again."

Afterwards, he will then leave your service.

Auridon Marine: "Justice is done. I must return to my squad. Fare well."
