Clanker as a Dwarven Spider

Clanker is a Dwarven machine owned by Neramo, who upgrades it over the course of the Daggerfall Covenant questline.

Clanker initially appears as an overcharged Dwarven Spider until it is found later in Sentinel, where it has been upgraded into a Dwarven Centurion.

During the Quarry Conundrum quest in Wrothgar, Neramo will reveal that Clanker eventually ran out of energy and ceased to function.

Buried Secrets

Neramo will be working on upgrading the automaton. After you helped him, the automaton will be found on the deck of The Spearhead.

Betnikh

You can later find Clanker on inside one of the cabins of the Spearhead when stationed on Betnikh.

Daggerfall

When you land in Daggerfall, Clanker will wander the top deck of the Spearhead.

Wayrest

The automaton will be found on the top deck of the bow of Captain Marck's ship with Neramo and Vimy Lacroix.

Sentinel

After completing the Rise of the Dead^{[verification needed — might be The Impervious Vault]} quest, Clanker will be found at the entrance of Mages Guild Tower (Sentinel)
