Laeneval is a Wood Elf healer and one of the survivors of the Daedra attack on the city of Whisper Grove. She can be found at the central barricade with Gilraen, Elolir, and the Archers and Protectors of the Whisper Grove.

Before you speak to Gilraen:

"Speak with Gilraen if you have something to say, stranger. I've got wounded to rip from death's jaws."

After you agreed to help Gilraen to drive back the besieging Daedric forces, you can enlist Laeneval to help you at the two separate fronts:

"I overheard your conversation with Gilraen. I'd love to help you tear those Daedra apart."

Gilraen said you were a healer.

"I am most certainly.
You'll be the one doing all the tearing. I just meant I would patch you up when they tear you back."

Then let's take care of those Daedra.

Once you recruited her:

Laeneval: "We've got to keep moving."

If you speak to her again:

"We've got to keep moving."

After dealing with one of the fronts:

"You certainly fight like you've done this before.
We have one more front to clear, and then we'll be free to help the others at the central barrier."

After dealing with both fronts:

"We've been away from the central barrier long enough. Gilraen and the others will need my healing. Let's hope they're not dead."
