"And what do you call her, stranger? Nocturnal is the Mistress of Shadows no matter what name you give her. She watched us in the beginning, she watches us now, and she will watch us in all the twilights to come." —Glynnetal the Footpad

The Markarth Outlaws Refuge is an outlaws refuge hidden beneath Markarth. The refuge can be entered through a door found in a corridor upon the ridge west of the daily quest givers in southwestern Markarth. Denghola is tending to a lean-to in front of this entrance. This entrance leads you to the northern portion of the refuge, where the moneylender and a fence are located.
If you head up the stairs, you'll find the refuge's merchant. An entrance to Stone Eagle Aerie is located in the hallway south of this chamber and to the northwest. Yanabil's fence stall and Morborgol's guild kiosk are located in the round chamber to the south. Remains-Silent is located in the hallway further south of them, near the entrance located outside town. The exterior entrance is located west of Markarth, among a smattering of Dwarven ruins on the side of the river to the south of the city gates.
