- Jump from the nose of the Weeping Giant.
For the Nose Diver Achievement, you must go to the Weeping Giant area in Stormhaven. Once you are there, locate the large body of water surrounded by camps and stone steps leading to higher ground. You will see a waterfall cascading into the body of water, and this is what you must look for. Just to the right of the waterfall you will see a large statue sticking out of the ground and hovering over the water at an angle. This is the Weeping Giant statue that you must jump off of.
When facing the waterfall, you will see a set of stone steps leading upward to your left. Climb those stairs all the way to the top. They are filled with hostile Supernal Dreamers. When you see the broken tower at the top, do not enter the tower. Instead, turn right to face a broken building with a red flag hanging beside its entrance. Turn right again and you will find yourself facing what appears to be a tall stack of stone and grass. This is the statue that you are looking for.
Move along the right edge of the cliff you are currently standing on, even hopping down slightly to continue, until you can go no further. You will find yourself overlooking the waterfall to your right. If you turn around and look at the stone behind you, you will actually see that you are standing on the side of the giant's nose. Jump from the nose to gain the achievement.
Notes[edit]
- It is quite likely, though not guaranteed, that this jump will be fatal. Bosmer Elves are naturally less susceptible to fall damage, and are the best race to attempt this jump without dying. Note that unlike the Wrothgar Cliff Jumper achievement, you will still receive this achievement even if it does kill you.
- Maximize your health buffs before jumping. Food, potions, health related skills, etc. If your outfit is normally magic or stamina buffs, consider temporarily swapping out your equipment for health buffs. Since you may be fighting your way up the stairs, it might be worth considering bringing your health equipment in inventory and changing clothes just before jumping. Remember to change back after the jump. Planning ahead and using enough health buffs, this jump can be survived.
