The Aldmeri Dominion has set up a staging area south of Hissmir in a fishing village called Murkwater.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Padeehei in Hissmir.
2. Find Silent-Moss in Murkwater.

Detailed Walkthrough

Padeehei can be found waiting at the south end of Hissmir. Speak to her:

"I grieve. Dominion soldiers destroyed my home.

Without help from the Shadowscales, I wouldn't have escaped."

What happened?

"The Aldmeri Dominion happened. They landed their ships at our village southeast of Hissmir. Then they started slaughtering everyone.

They may be coming this way next."

How did you get away?

"I hid in an offal pile. I thought I was doomed, but a Shadowscale named Silent-Moss found me and helped me escape. I don't know what happened to him after that.

If you want to help, go see him. He might still be there."

I'll see if I can find him.

Your objective marker will point you to a fork in the road to the east, southeast of the Hissmir Wayshrine. However, you may also find Silent-Moss in other locations on your way there, such as at the river's edge almost directly southeast of Padeehei. Speak to Silent-Moss wherever you find him, to complete the quest:

"Keep your voice down. The Dominion has taken Murkwater. We can't afford to be caught."

Padeehei said the Aldmeri Dominion landed nearby.

"Ah, yes! Padeehei. That one is stronger than she knows. She hid from the Dominion soldiers for days before we snuck her out.

I'm glad you're here. There's plenty that needs doing."

• This quest will not be available if you have already completed the Murkwater Objective.
