Retainer Muvis is a Dark Elf at the entrance to Ald Isra. When you approach him he will request that you stop so that he can pass on a message for you from Leramil the Wise.

When you approach him he will say:

Retainer Muvis: "You there! I have a message for you."

Conversing with him will have him be amazed at the accuracy of Leramil's description of you and when you would appear:

"Incredible. It's just like the High Elf said. She described you down to your footwear. And she even knew exactly when you'd pass by this exact spot. I have a message for you, serjo. From Leramil the Wise."

What's the message?

"It's pretty straightforward. Leramil wants you to meet her at Tel Rendys. Something about a contract you signed. She said fate requires her to be there, too, so she'll meet you just outside the tower grounds."

Did she say anything else?

"Just a lot of nonsense about fate and threads and such. If I didn't know better, I'd swear she was a master or a magister. She said that if you want answers about her patron's adversaries—her words, not mine—you need to join her there."

I'll go to Tel Rendys and meet Leramil the Wise.

Attempting to speak to him again will have him reiterate his lack of understanding for the situation:

"I'm afraid none of that makes much sense to me. All I can tell you is that Leramil was rather impatient. You better head to Tel Rendys and see what she wants."
