- Investigate the Maulborn camps by the lake.
- Talk to Naryu Virian.
- Return to the kinhouse.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
City Lockdown[edit]
Councilor Ralden decides to seal the city, based on the news you brought him. He tells you to find Giron Sadri and tell him what you discovered. Ralden has also asked the guards to let you come and go as you please.
Sadri is upstairs in the Hlaalu Kinhouse. He questions Ralden's leadership because it took half of Narsis vanishing and an outsider to bring him to his senses. Sadri tells you to investigate the Maulborn camps by the lake.
Lakeside Camping[edit]
The lake is behind the kinhouse, to the northwest of Narsis. You can investigate any of the three locations marked on your map, but the one you'll have the most interest in is the camp in the middle of the lake, between the other two. In either of the side camps, you'll find an interesting notice on the bodies of gutted Maulborn cultists, which will point you in the direction of the middle camp. The note says that the Maulborn have tainted the water in the lake with the Llodos plague, and mentions someone known as Commander Thandon. Dispatch Commander Thandon at the middle camp, and near his tent, you'll find Merdyndril's Orders, which reveals the Maulborn have been testing the plague by dumping it in the waterfall at night. You should investigate the waterfall.
Tainted Water[edit]
At the base of the waterfall, you see two broken crates with some kind of vile, yellow-green substance in the water around them. Investigate them.
- <Some kind of vile, yellow-green substance is concentrated around the broken crates in the lake here.>
Once you discover this, Naryu Virian appears. She says that Giron Sadri wants you dead and brought the plague to Narsis. She tells you to run back over to the kinhouse.
You return to the kinhouse, only to find the councilor missing. Varon Davel is there, and tells you that Giron Sadri has kidnapped the Councilor.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
