Storming the Hall

There is a statue to Yngol in Fallowstone Hall's Hall of the Dead.

<A plaque sits at the feet of this statue.>
"Ylgar, youngest son of Ysgramor, the greatest of us all. Captain of the Duramzu and hero of the Five Hundred."

The Rise of Sage Svari

He appears in the vision at the Shrine of Yngol after his brother disappears.

Ylgar: "Alas, my elder brother Yngol, right arm of our father, perished in a great storm during the crossing. Grieving, Lord Ysgramor and I led our diminished host onto the shores of Skyrim."

He appears again at the Shrine of Ylgar. He is seen fighting off two Snow Elves before facing you and Skald Svari.

Ylgar: "The elves who'd held Skyrim for time immemorial fell like grass before our blades! The Companions of Lord Ysgramor soon ruled all the land."

Ylgar: "Behind the shields and swords of the Companions, others settled here from faroff Atmora. Our people prospered and the fame of Ysgramor, harbinger of us all, spread across Tamriel."

He appears once more at the Shrine of Ysgramor where he is assisting his father to slay Sinmur:

Ylgar: "Even the giant Sinmur fell to the might of Ysgramor and Wuuthrad!"

Ysgramor: "And so shall all the Companions' foes fall!"
