Charach is a town located on the southeastern edge of Stirk Isle. The settlement subsides on fishing and trading with ships resupplying in it's port. The Abecean Longfin is considered a delicacy from here and is one of the few goods the island exports. Like many other locations in and around the Abecean Sea, the town is suffering from piracy. The relatively temperate, marine climate is considered a healthy alternative compared to the sweltering wetlands of the Heartlands, leading many wealthy Imperial families vacation in the town. The prefect's curia governs the town.

Getting There and Around[edit]
There are several ways to reach Charach. Saquerilla in the Anvil marina and Manni in Thresvy can both transport you to the town's docks by boat, while Yinassi on the top floor of the Anvil Guild of Mages can teleport you to the local Guild of Mage. As many will tell you, you can also simply walk to Charach from the mainland if you can walk on water. You can also swim from the mainland, though this comes with the risk of being ambushed by hostile sea life.
Overland travel can be difficult on the island due to it's rocky terrain; however, a secret passage accessible through the Telvor Crypt grants a relatively direct path to the islands northern side, if you can survive the ghosts and smugglers found along the way. Alternatively, the beach east of the town also provides an easy route north around the island. Those who wish to reach the western beach can do so by leaving through the town's northern gates and then following the path west; the western beach can be found after passing the Conina and Gavus farmhouses.
Places of Interest Around Charach[edit]
Several small farms can be found west of the town, as can the old, abandoned Duskmoth Keep navy fort. Two grottos, Land's End and Mirta, can be found west of the town, along the southern shore of Stirk's western beach. The Colovian barrow of Val Ansvech can be found a bit inland from that beach, while Chaerraich barrow can be found inland from the island's eastern beach. The shrine of St. Heceri lies a short distance north or the town, while the Ayleid ruins of Wormusoel and the Wavereaver goblin's Kingfisher cave can be found bit further north of that; the latter two locations can easily be reached by traveling north and then west along the eastern beach.

Notes[edit]
- Prior to Project Cyrodiil's Abecean Shores release this town was called Stirk, sharing the name with the island on which it is located.
