Aloe

The ancients knew well the efficacy of the Aloe. It is a wondrous herb, useful in staunching the flow of blood and in promoting the healing of wounds. It has also been found to lessen the effect of the pox. An elixir may be simply made by combining the licqor [sic] from a crushed leaf with purest water.

Angelica

Angelica is known among those who dwell in Hammerfell as a delicacy when crystalised. It has been used to cure the flatulence.

Basil

This herb is beneficial for reducing swelling in the proboscus [sic]. It is applied as a poultice over the affected area. As a precautionary measure, straws should be placed in the nostrils prior to application.
