Call of Valor is a dragon shout that summons a hero to fight alongside you. Tsun teaches this shout to you at the end of Dragonslayer, the conclusion of the main quest.
Using one word summons Gormlaith Golden-Hilt, two words summons Felldir the Old, and three words summons Hakon One-Eye.

Notes[edit]
- If Call of Valor is used while a conjured creature is still active, the shout will dispel the creature and replace it with the summoned hero. The reverse can happen as well; if a summoned hero is active, a Conjure spell will dispel the hero and replace it with the conjured creature. This even applies to summoning Durnehviir, as well, as he is considered a summoned creature: calling for Durnehviir's help will dispel the heroes of Sovngarde, and summoning a hero of Sovngarde will dispel Durnehviir.
- The heroes summoned by Call of Valor can be healed by restoration spells such as Healing Hands and the shout allows one to keep the summoned hero indefinitely, unless another creature is summoned.
- It is not possible to have the Spectral Assassin and the Hero of Sovngarde summon out together, even with the Twin Souls perk. Summoning one after the other will relinquish the former. The same applies with the Arniel's Shade summon.
- If you happen to be in the path of the hero's Unrelenting Force shout, you will be ragdolled just as much as any enemy you were standing next to.
Bugs[edit]
- Like Conjure spells, the shout may be absorbed by any active Spell Absorption effects. If the shout is absorbed, a hero will not be summoned, but the shout's cooldown will still be triggered.
- The Unofficial Skyrim Patch, version 1.2.1, fixes this bug.
