Gunther

Gunther (or Gunther Frost-Foot) is a dead Nord merchant who went missing at Traitor's Post. He was killed by Erwan and her gang of bandits who currently occupy the destroyed cabin at Traitor's Post. You will be tasked with investigating his disappearance during the related quest. You will find his body propped against a chair near the ruined fireplace within the cabin, holding a broom.

Erwan appears to be quite mentally disturbed and considers Gunther's corpse to be her "best friend". She has stripped the corpse naked and given him nothing but the Ring of Masser to wear. This ring is quite valuable and you will need to loot it from his corpse as part of the related quest. He is also carrying a small amount of gold as well as a copy of The Crimson Dirks, v5. Based on a letter held by Erwan, it appears that Gunther was lured to his doom by a man named Edward in order to deliver this book to Erwan.
