Haesmar is a Nord Vampire of the Quarra Clan.

Alongside Agrius Amnis and Aenar, Haesmar is one of the few surviving members of the original Clan Quarra. In the clan's new form, Haesmar serves as the leader of the hunters; responsible for keeping the clan supplied with meat and blood, and sometimes dealing with rival hunters like the Berne or fools who interfere with the clan's hunters.

Background

Haesmar's life as a mortal is long forgotten, and he is content with leaving it that way. In Vvardenfell, Haesmar served as a guard in Druscashti, the Quarra's ancestral home and base of operations. After the death of the clan's founder Volrina Quarra, Haesmar defended the Quarra survivors from attacks by their rivals in the Berne Clan until they were forced to evacuate Vvardenfell in the Red Year and move to Solstheim.

When a messenger arrived from the Volkihar Clan with an offer from Lord Harkon, a new home in Skyrim in exchange for assistance exploring a ruin in the Reach, Haesmar traveled alongside the rest of the clan to complete the mission. When all was said and done, the Quarra moved into the ruins of Stone Garden in Pinemoon Cave, and Haesmar set to work organizing hunts to keep the clan fed with blood.
