Quest Not Offered[edit]

Sorex never offers me this quest. Is there any special way to get the dialogue option to show up? 98.244.13.11 04:57, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

Just wait a few minutes after Roggvir's execution, then ask him who's in charge of Solitude. Robin Hoodtalk 07:39, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

I came through too fast. Missed Roggvir's execution[edit]

I came through Solitude, almost saw Roggvir's execution.

It was happening in the background, while I was searching for Golum Ei for a Thieves Guild quest.

I did not see/ask Sorex about the execution right after. Can this quest still be triggered? — Unsigned comment by Desaivv (talkcontribs) at 14:37 on 4 March 2012

I believe it should still be available. There's no requirement that you actually watched the execution, just that it's finished. Robin Hoodtalk 23:33, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
I watched the execution, but didn't talk to Sorex until at least several in-game months after that, and after I had already been to the Blue Palace and talked to most of the court. He has yet to offer this quest. The only dialogue path he has available is the one where he whines about how mean the guy who was executed was.--75.205.220.43 05:53, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

Reward?[edit]

Not mentioned in article.

Sorex's disposition?[edit]

If you can marry him after doing this quest, then the quest should affect his disposition. That's not a listed reward in the quest header though. --Morrolan (talk) 14:48, 23 August 2013 (GMT)
