Vampirism

If Malyn Varen wanted to be immortal and not die of disease, why didn't he just contract Sanguinare Vampiris? As Babette says, 'vampirism keeps one remarkably fresh'. Plus there's that 100% resistance to disease effect. Seems like a lot less of a hassle to me. -Deltahost (talk) 08:13, 22 February 2013 (GMT)

Vampires are not immortal per say, they don't age but they can still be killed fairly easily. Of course Malyn's solution is far from perfect but the Star is protected by necromancers and Malyn himself by dremoras. Killing him is incredibly difficult and as long as he's got souls, he can live. 90.84.146.253 13:06, 22 February 2013 (GMT)
