Hlavesa Llenim

Hlavesa Llenim is a Dark Elf merchant who can be found in the northwestern room on the middle floor of The Glass Goblet in Tel Mothrivra. He is a traveling merchant on a long journey from Necrom to Firewatch, and is stopping in Tel Mothrivra to rest for a bit. He is carrying a package awaited by Zaren Hammebenat at the East Empire Company branch in Firewatch, although he may be delayed by his guar recently becoming sick.

He wears a common shirt, a common skirt, a pair of common shoes, a common belt, a Chameleon Ring, and a chitin tower shield. He wields a steel longsword, and carries 75 gold.

Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows the following spells: Variable Resist Common Disease, Variable Resist Fire, Variable Resist Frost, Variable Resist Magicka, and Variable Resist Poison.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Please, leave me alone if it isn't urgent."
"Alt Bosara is a beautiful city due to its natural waterfalls. It's also a Telvanni town, but a larger one than we have here. It is a pure construction of Telvanni wizardry, with no old Velothi buildings as are found here."
  • Background:
"I'm Hlavesa Llenim, a traveling merchant resting here at this inn. I'm coming from Necrom and I'm on my way to Firewatch. Do you want to know my route?"
"I think that he is trying to seduce the Telvanni Master Vaerin to go against the Temple and provoke the Temple with his words. Some people even say that he is learning the art of necromancy."
  • Firewatch:
"Firewatch is a fortified Imperial city in the northeast of Morrowind famous for its college and lighthouse. It's one of largest Imperial cities in Morrowind. Most people are friendly there."
  • good town to trade:
"If your interested in trading, go to Firewatch. Imperials are open to anyone willing to trade. We Dunmer are more reserved and like to trade with other Dunmer. Only the cities belonging to House Hlaalu are more open and friendly towards foreign customers, but I don't visit Hlaalu towns."
  • know my route:
"I'm on a journey from Necrom to Firewatch. It was a long walk to reach Alt Bosara. From Alt Bosara I stopped here, at Tel Mothrivra to rest. I still need to make a dangerous trip through Boethiah's Spine to Llothanis. From there, I need to go to Ranyon-Ruhn and then finally to Firewatch. *Sigh* I got tired from just thinking about it."
  • local area:
"There are a lot of smugglers and other criminals in the area. I'm hoping to not encounter any of those."
  • local economy:
"The most important place for this economy is the Kapid-Namisat eggmine. However, there are also some fishermer in this small town. It's not the best place to sell my wares. There isn't even a smith here."
  • Necrom:
"Necrom is an old Dunmer city lying in the east of Morrowind. This city isn't like the other Dunmer ciites, because Necrom is the place where Dunmer are buried according to ancient Dunmer customs. A lot of graveyards can be found in this city. I don't know of any other white city in Morrowind."
  • package delivery:

If you are a member of the East Empire Company, but haven't started Business as Usual:

"The package? Oh, yes. I had it on me, but it seems I've misplaced it. There is something I don't like about your asking. Get moving, %PCRace. I can't help you." Goodbye (Disposition down by 15)
  • Tel Mothrivra:
"Tel Mothrivra is a Telvanni town, notable for its former monastery which is now the tower of Lord Dralothas Omothran. It isn't a good town to trade in."

East Empire Company: Business as Usual[edit]

  • Greetings:
"Yes, I'm the one you want for a package delivery. At least for one in this part of Morrowind. What's this about, specifically?"
"Ready for the package?"
"My guar is so healthy again! Thank you again for your help, %PCRace. You've truly done me a kind turn."
  • Hlavesa Llenim:
"Yes?"
  • package delivery:
"Sera Hammebenat sent you all the way here for this package delivery? Hmph, that is very unusual. It wouldn't be very professional of me to simply give packages to everyone who claims to come on behalf of a customer. Delivering the item in person is part of the reputation a trustworthy merchant must maintain. However, it will be some time before I'm in Firewatch again, so perhaps I'll make an exception. But you will have to do something in return for me, since I'm taking quite a risk."
  • Continue: "You may have seen my guar standing outside of The Glass Goblet. I don't know how much you know about these beasts, but you may have noticed that she isn't exactly what you'd call healthy. I have never seen her like this. She won't eat, her eyes have lost their shine, and she doesn't even purr when I feed larvae to her. I'd buy something to heal her but that cheapskate, Seris Athyon, won't sell me any of her potions! Can you believe it? If you cure my guar, I'll give you the package."
  • Okay.: "Excellent. Either get the potion, or find some other way to cure her."
  • Forget it.: "Fine. Then Sera Hammebenat will simply have to wait for his package. Assuming he even sent you."
  • I have a potion that may help.: " Oh, thank you! Yes, this certainly has the right smell. You've helped me, so it's only fair that I help you." (Removed Potion of Cure Common Disease from your inventory)
  • Let's discuss the package.: "The package costs 50 gold. Pay me that, and you can go deliver it to Sera Hammebenat yourself."
  • I'll give you 40 septims for that package.: "A price is a price, %PCRace. If I don't earn any money, I can't feed my guar. If I can't feed my guar, she gets sick again. If she gets sick again, I can't earn any money. I'm thankful for your efforts, but I can't just give this away."
If you don't have 40 gold:
"You don't have enough money, even if I sold it for 40 gold. While I appreciate what you've done, I simply can't give this away for so little. It cost me a great deal. But we can talk again once you've gotten more funds."
If your Mercantile is at least 60:
"You drive a hard bargain, %PCRace. Still, you did help me a great deal, so I'll give you some credit. Very well, I'll take those 40 septims and you can have this. Be careful with it during the trip, will you? Sera Hammebenat won't want his merchandise tampered with, and I do have a reputation to maintain, after all." Goodbye (Removed 40 gold from your inventory, and you receive Zaren's Package)
  • [Pay 50 gold.]: "I'll take these, and you can have this. Please be careful with the package. My clients don't like their goods to be tampered with, and I'm sure Sera Hammebenat will be quite put out if anyone opens it before him." Goodbye (Removed 50 gold from your inventory, and you receive Zaren's Package)
If you don't have 50 gold:
"You don't have enough money. I'm thankful for what you've done, but I can't afford to just give this away."
  • Nevermind.: "Just come back when you've made up your mind. I'll hold onto the package delivery, but I can't stay here forever, so don't take too long."
If you don't have a Potion of Cure Common Disease:
"Then where is it? Lying to me won't help your cause. Go get an actual potion, or leave me alone." (Disposition down by 10)
"The only way I'm giving you this package is if you help my guar." (See choices above)

If you cured the guar with a spell:

"You healed her yourself? Oh, thank you! You've helped me a great deal. Since you've fulfilled your part of the bargain, I shall fulfill mine."
  • Let's discuss the package.:

If you went away and have obtained a potion from Seris Athyon:

"You'll get the package once you cure my guar."
  • [Offer a Cure Common Disease potion.]: "This potion should work just fine! Thank you, %PCName. She's just a guar, but she's traveled down many a road with me. I'd hate to lose her." (Removed Potion of Cure Common Disease from your inventory)
  • Let's discuss the package.: (See identical option and responses above)
  • I'll be back.: "Don't take too long! I fear she won't last much longer."
"I already gave you the package, %PCRace."
