Letter to Lavidia
An Imperial guard's letter to his wife back in Cyrodiil

Dearest Lavidia,

I am writing this letter from my chambers in a keep at Firewatch. I have longed of my return to you and my children. There aren't that many of my kind in this part of Morrowind. The Telvanni are not welcoming of us, yet I feel safe in Firewatch. It is a very nice city and I think you and the kids would like it very much, but I would much rather be home.

With all the unrest I have been hearing about in Cyrodil [sic] I have been getting more and more worried about your safety. There has been talk that the Legions will be recalled soon. I will be very glad to go home, yet trouble will surely arise here in Morrowind. Many of the Dark Elves are very hostile towards the Empire, especially in the far south, as I hear. If the Legion ever leaves Morrowind, the Dark Elves will take full control. I fear the worst.

I hope for your safety, dear Lavidia. Please write back as you have always done. You are the one thing that keeps me happy, even on the other side of the Empire. I wish the best for you and the children!

Yours,

Falcius
