5According to Lorus Avius, Melia Floria is concerned that Tarus Meritorus manipulates the Company's figures. I have to go and talk to her again about the discrepancies in the ledgers.
10Melia suspects Tarus of stealing the Company's property and selling it away. She saw him in the storage rooms upstairs sometimes, despite him having no reason to be there.
20I found a piece of paper with Tarus' name, mentioning a meeting at the lighthouse west of Helnim.
30Melia suggested I take a closer look at the lighthouse and to speak to the lighthouse keeper.
35Tarus told me he only met a friend at the lighthouse.
40I talked to Erdgolf, the lighthouse keeper. It seems that some people -- none of them Tarus -- pay him to store crates and not to worry too much about them. He probably knows more.
50Erdgolf admitted that there would be a crate delivery that night: the crates would be dropped at the doorstep from where he would fetch them later. I could try to get a glimpse of the smugglers or retrieve evidence from the crates.
60As we heard voices outside the lighthouse, Erdgolf said I should watch the smugglers from the outside stairs.
65I heard voices outside the lighthouse. The outside stairs should offer a good view without too high a danger of getting noticed.
70After I have killed the smugglers, I found a letter from Tarus on one of the corpses.
75The smugglers left behind a crate. If it contains items from the East Empire Company warehouse, I can take a sample to Lorus Avius as evidence.
76I took a sample from the crate which might belong to the East Empire Company.
80I could neither observe smuggling activities nor find stolen goods at the Helnim lighthouse. I must have missed the smugglers' meeting.
85Finishes quest☑I told Lorus that I couldn't find out more about the discrepancies.
90Finishes quest☑Lorus got angry when he heard that Tarus is dead, and didn't give me a reward.
95Finishes quest☑I gave Lorus the letter from Tarus. He said that he'll inform the guards of the theft and paid me 200 drakes reward.
100Finishes quest☑I gave Lorus samples from the crates. He said that he'll inform the guards of the theft and paid me 200 drakes reward.
