Dialogue Transcription[edit]
Good afternoon! I noticed you've transcribed a few lines of dialogue by hand. You can copy and paste lines from the lang file to make things easier on yourself.
If you decide to download the lang file: in the esofiles directory (linked above), navigate to the folder for the most recent update and select "lang.zip" to download the lang file. Since you've been doing Greymoor pages, I feel I should let you know that if you don't intend on doing Blackwood pages, anything before Update 30 will work for your purposes. Fair bit of warning: the lang file is a tad large (it's not gigabytes large, but it's big nonetheless), so it might take a minute to download. lang.zip contains several files, but the one you're going to want to open is en.lang.csv, as that's the text file with all of the dialogue in it.
Once you've got the file open, it's just a matter of using Ctrl+F to search the document for lines you're missing, then copying and pasting those lines onto the page. A few key words will do. For older base game content, you may want to leave NPC names, item names, and place names out of your search query, because those are occasionally replaced by switches, and it's hard to predict when a name is going to be replaced by a number in a pair of less than/greater than signs.
I just wanted to make this available to you; I know transcribing dialogue can be tough on the wrists. Thanks for all the work you've done so far, and I hope you have a wonderful day! -MolagBallet (talk) 20:15, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- I really appreciate you linking the dialogue files! As soon as I get the time and focus to sit down and go over them I'll start using them. Hope that I'm replying correctly!
- Quick update: the files you linked seem to only have more recent updates listed, is there anywhere I could also find older files?

- You're most welcome! I believe the older files have been archived, as they were taking up a lot of space. You can request them from Daveh. -MolagBallet (talk) 00:34, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

ONQPH[edit]
To answer a question from an edit summary on Online:Mother of Shadows, we don't remove the ONQPH once it's completely filled out. It's not there visually, but it puts a category on the page that indicates the quest is ready for final review by an administrator. -MolagBallet (talk) 04:12, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks! I realised once i edited it that thats how it worked, but thanks for clarifying anyway

Lorebooks[edit]
Hi,
I reverted most of your edits to the lorebooks you edited, because the bookshelves change what book is on them on a (roughly) daily basis. So, for example, a shelf that had Thief of Virtue today, may not have it tomorrow.
If I'm wrong on this and something has changed, I apologize, and do let me know! Oath2order (talk) 08:01, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
Game displays wrong text[edit]
Hello, I was just looking at the edit you made on The Wing of the Dragon where you marked one of the quest stages with {{vn|game displays wrong text?}}. Could I ask what you meant by that? I noticed it’s been a few months and it still hasn’t been resolved so wanted to reach out and ask.

- I'll be honest, I don't even remember. I assume I noticed something odd when I did the quest, though. Maybe I have a screenshot of it somewhere? Unsure. I don't have time to check tbh.
