Quick Walkthrough[edit]

- Give him a Rising Force Potion.
- Accept your choice of rewards.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
The Cave of Palansour[edit]
This strange quest begins and ends in the smugglers' cave of Palansour, south of Ald Velothi. Once inside, instead of smugglers, you'll find an ogrim, a few scamps and a few dead smugglers. Explore the cave further to find the sorcerer Inwold locked in a cell, along with an explanation. The cell is above the main room with the scamps and the large cauldron.
The Sad Sorcerer[edit]
Apparently he is to blame for the death of his comrades and wants you to supply him with a rising force potion so that he can escape. In return, he offers to give you the lovely hat and skirt the scamps made him wear. There are a few Levitate potions in the cave itself, so finding one for him shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you refuse to accept both the hat and skirt, you'll receive one point of Reputation.
Notes[edit]
- Any grade of Rising Force Potion will do; however, custom-made Levitate potions will not. He will take the cheapest grade you have with one exception - He'll take an Exclusive potion before a Quality potion. Best is to either bring a Bargain potion with you or use one of the Cheap potions found in the cave.

1 | I found this poor sorcerer imprisoned by a swarm of scamps. They fed him his companions in a broth. And stripped him and forced him to wear a skirt and hat. He looks very melancholy. He asked me to get him a potion of levitation so he could escape from his high perch. He offered to reward me with the attractive skirt and remarkable hat they made him wear. | |
