Avatar of Fortitude

The Avatar of Fortitude is a frost atronach and optional mini-boss in Black Drake Villa. It can be reached from a sealed passageway in the final room of the Grand Archive (just before Captain Geminus) by going up the stairs and using the controls to move the highlighted statues onto the pads on each end of the stairs, which will reveal the two Guardian Orbs that must be activated to carry their essence down to the pedestals below, causing the wall to vanish and reveal the path to the Glittering Den. By activating the seal in the den, the Avatar of Fortitude will be summoned.

Icicle Stab

A basic melee attack dealing high physical damage.

Conflicting Core

The Avatar's chest cavity opens up, revealing a flaming core, which emits hot air all around the Avatar, dealing very high continuous flame damage. Blocking during the ability greatly reduces the damage received.

Frosted Uppercut

The Avatar uppercuts you with its icicle arm, dealing high physical damage as well as causing a frost explosion at your location, dealing high moderate frost damage to you and anyone close.

Club Swing

The Avatar rears its club arm and strikes with it, dealing massive physical damage. This attack can be blocked.
