A bear

Bears are large, hostile creatures found across Tamriel. They will attack if you are infringing on their territory, and will always roar or growl in an effort to intimidate potential threats before attacking. Bear carcasses can sometimes be harvested for cloth scraps that can be refined for use in crafting.

Bears in the wild can sometimes be seen scratching their backs against trees in the wilderness to mark their territory.

A white bear

Swipe

A basic melee attack that deals minor physical damage.

Savage Blows

The bear swipes its target with its front paws, dealing moderate physical damage, staggering them, and applying Bleeding for 8 seconds. This can be blocked to set the bear off-balance, though it won't negate the bleeding.

Crushing Swipe

The bear gets up on its hind legs and crashes down on its target, indicated by a red cone, dealing moderate physical damage and knocking them down. Blocking negates the knockdown.
