Standard

Flare

A basic ranged attack that does minor flame damage.

Heat Wave

Darkreave Runemaster releases fire along the ground in the direction it is facing. This attack does moderate flame damage to all players hit by it. This spell can be interrupted to set Darkreave Runemaster off balance or simply avoided.

Fire Runes

Darkreave Runemaster shoots two fireballs in the air which form two fire runes when they land. The runes do moderate flame damage over time to all enemies within the red circles and should be avoided. Players should be prepared to move as soon as the attack casts as one rune will always be cast on top of you.

The Underweave

Runeblades

Darkreave Runemaster casts a Runeblades-like ability which hits you thrice, dealing minor magic damage each time.

Fatecarver

Darkreave Runemaster casts a Fatecarver-like ability which deals continuous magic damage when inside the large green beam. This can be interrupted to set Darkreave Runemaster off-balance.

Rune of Displacement

Darkreave Runemaster casts a Rune of Displacement-like ability which pulls nearby targets to its center after a small delay, dealing low magic damage then it deals low magic damage over time to targets hit.

Dialogue

You can encounter Darkreave Runemasters fighting Ogrims or berating them for failing their tasks in random encounters within Apocrypha:

Darkreave Runemaster: "I tire of your incompetence! You are as inept as a rock!"

Darkreave Runemaster: "You won't drop anything else once I'm done with you!"

Darkreave Runemaster: "These texts are worth more than you and yet you still have the audacity to drop them."

Darkreave Runemaster: "You're as worthless as you look!"

Darkreave Runemaster: "Clumsy oaf! How dare you drop priceless works in my presence!"

Darkreave Runemaster: "I'll break your arms you insolent beast!"

Once the Ogrim is defeated, the Runemaster will leave in a portal:
