Skills and Abilities

Graveld has all of the same abilities as standard salamanders, as well as additional unique abilities:

Tail Whip

Graveld swipes you with its tail, indicated by a charging conal AoE, dealing high physical damage and knocking you away.

Elemental Eruption

Graveld begins to shake while standing still, causing orbs of its attuned element to be launched all over the arena around itself, indicated by small circular AoEs, dealing continuous elemental damage each. At the same time, roving elemental trails erupt from beneath its belly outward in all directions, indicated by small traveling circular AoEs, dealing high elemental damage each.

Retreat

Upon reaching health thresholds during the fight, Graveld slithers away and hides in the tunnels surrounding the arena, becoming invulnerable. While out of reach, groups of weaker salamanders come out to fight you. The first group at 75% health consists of six salamanders that cannot become attuned to elements. The second group at 50% consists of three stronger and sturdier salamanders that can become attuned. The third group at 25% health consists of three salamanders of the same power and health, but are only attuned to ice.

Afterward, once Graveld comes back for its last 25% remaining health, salamander reinforcements with the build of the second group will continuously flood into the arena to support the boss until it is finally defeated.
