Great Shalk

Great Shalks are a type of shalk found on Vvardenfell. Unlike standard shalks, they are constantly overloaded with fiery energy, which they will expand in various ways to defend themselves.

They are found most prominently in the Molag Amur region, and can be found alone or with normal shalks (which they can sometimes be seen fighting). They can be found around places like Nchuleftingth, the Forgotten Wastes and Dreudurai Glass Mine.

They also spawn at Volcanic Vents on High Isle and Galen.

Skills and Abilities

Bite

A basic melee attack dealing low physical damage.

Flash Burst

The great shalk quickly releases a burst of flames around itself, dealing low fire damage.

Fiery Bite

The great shalk coats its mandibles with fire before lunging for a bite, dealing moderate physical damage and low flame damage over time. This attack can be blocked to set the great shalk off-balance.

Flame Release

The great shalk releases excess flames all around itself, as indicated by a circular AoE, dealing continuous moderate flame damage. This attack can be interrupted to set the great shalk off-balance.
