Valkynaz Ryvekh

Valkynaz Ryvekh is a Shardborn Dremora who is one of the leaders involved with the Mirrormoor Incursions plaguing West Weald. He can be encountered in wilds around a Mirrormoor Mosaic performing a ritual to empower the rift, as well as defending the Mirrormoor champion once it is summoned.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss rank enemy, Valkynaz Ryvekh is immune to crowd control. He wields two swords.

Glass Shards

When alone before the main boss fight, multiple Shard Tornadoes wander about in the zone. They move slowly, dealing very fast ticks of moderate magic damage and knocking back players in an area.

Ritual Glass

When alone before the main boss fight, Valkynaz Ryvekh stands in the middle of a zone dealing continuous fast ticks of moderate magic damage and knocking back.

Glass Lightning

When alone before the main boss fight, lightning strikes happen throughout the whole zone, dealing moderate-high magic damage in a small area.

Slash

Basic melee attack dealing moderate-high physical damage.

Rending Slash

Stronger basic melee attack dealing high physical damage.

Dual Strike

Charged melee attack dealing moderate physical damage twice and staggers. This can be blocked to stagger Valkynaz Ryvekh instead.

Flying Dagger

Valkynaz Ryvekh throws a dagger at a target, dealing moderate physical damage.

Whirldwind

Valkynaz Ryvekh spins around with his swords, dealing very high physical damage in an area around him.

Frenzied Rush

Valkynaz Ryvekh teleports to a player and does a "Dual Strike", dealing moderate physical damage twice to them. He then teleports to the next player and does the same, and so on for a few seconds. A player can be attacked multiple times if not enough players are fighting Valkynaz Ryvekh.

Glass Sky

When the Mirrormoor Champion is close to death, the three Valkynaz will arrive in the shielded area to perform the spell. Large AoE circles will appear around random players and the shards of glass will smash down from the sky, dealing very high magic damage and snaring.

Dialogue

After you disrupt his ritual:

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "A small victory. You will not fare as well with the others."

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "The champion of Mirrormoor strides forth!"

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Miserable mortals. Your world ends in glass and fury."

When encountered performing the ritual in the wilds, you may hear his ambient dialogue:

"Irnak Myrr-mahr, suni zagh. Irnak Myrr-mahr, suni zagh."

"Vyla uxun, vyla vesek. Vyla uxun, vyla vesek."

When the champion is about to be summoned as the rift opened, he may say the following sets of lines:

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Bathe this world in prismatic glory!"

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Champion, the path is prepared!"

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Transform this realm to crystal!"

During the fight with the champion, he will arrive to defend it:

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Face the wrath of Mirrormoor!"

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Foolish mortals! This but the start."

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Mirrormoor stands against you!"

After driving him back:

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Foolish mortals! This is but the start."

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "We shall return."

As the champion is close to death, the three Valkynaz will arrive together to use the Glass Sky attack:

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Despair, mortals! We are here!"

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "Let the sky rain glass!"

Upon defeating the Valkynaz and their champion:

Valkynaz Ryvekh: "We will return!"
