A yellow mountain flower plant

Yellow Mountain Flower is harvested from the rare yellow-flowered variety of mountain flower. Other varieties of mountain flower yield blue mountain flowers, purple mountain flowers, and red mountain flowers, but the four flowers have different alchemical properties.

• 27 plants (55 with Special Edition) in the Ancestor Glade, east of Falkreath.
• 2 plants in Volkihar Courtyard after it is replanted.
• 2 plants in Vardnknd Gallery (Anniversary Edition) in front of the Spring's Symphony entrance. Vardnknd Gallery is the central cavern in the Runoff Caverns.
• 1 respawning plant at the Goldenhills Plantation home (Anniversary Edition) if you complete the quest to own the property and then build the apiary.

Notes

• Unlike the other three types of mountain flowers, the yellow mountain flower cannot be planted at player-built homes.^(HF)
