Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to Velyn Alari in Sadalvel Ancestral Tomb about Background, pilgrimages and Adren Alari.
  2. Deliver the Message to Adren to Adren Alari in the Necrom Temple's Library and talk to him about Velyn Alari.
  3. Either:
    • Agree to kill Velyn on Adren's behest, then either:
      • Let Velyn go, then return to Adren (rewards On the Importance of Heresy, 200 gold).
      • Kill Velyn, then return to Adren (rewards 200 gold).
  4. Or:
    1. Refuse to kill Velyn for Adren, and let him go.
    2. Return to Sadalvel Ancestral Tomb and either:
      • Allow Adren to attack Velyn and either:
        • Assist the attack (rewards 200 gold).
        • Assist Velyn (rewards On the Importance of Heresy).
        • Do nothing (rewards nothing).
      • Beg for peace (requires 50+ Speechcraft, rewards 100 gold, On the Importance of Heresy).

Notes[edit]

  • To reach the Temple Library, go to Necrom's temple (the largest building) and enter the Temple Pathway area. From there, enter the Hall of Contemplation. The library entrance is within the hall.

20 I have agreed to kill Adren's brother Velyn in the Sadalvel Ancestral Tomb.
25 I have killed Adren's brother Velyn.
30 I have told Adren that I would not kill his brother Velyn. Adren has said he will go to meet his brother.
40 I have told Velyn that Adren asked me to kill him. Velyn has lost faith in the Temple's teachings and has left Necrom to find a new path.
50 I have persuaded Adren and Velyn to not fight each other.
100 Finishes quest☑ Adren killed his brother on his own. He has returned to the Temple Library.
105 Finishes quest☑ I have killed Adren's brother for him. He gave me his savings and has told me that he intends to stay at the library.
110 Finishes quest☑ I helped Adren kill his brother. He gave me his savings and returned to the Temple Library.
120 Finishes quest☑ Velyn has killed his brother on his own. He has lost faith in the Temple's teachings and has left Necrom to find a new path.
130 Finishes quest☑ I helped Velyn kill his brother. He has lost faith in the Temple's teachings and has left Necrom to find a new path after giving me his old books.
140 Finishes quest☑ I told Adren that I had killed his brother. He gave me his savings and told me he will remain in the Temple Library.
