Aren Egg Mine

Aren Eggmine is a Hlaalu-operated egg mine in Aanthirin, owned by Orns Aren.

The entrance to the mine is immediately south of Aren Manor's wall. Little of note is to be found here at present. There are two routes into the lower levels, with one being behind a level 80 locked door. This route takes the player high above the queen's chamber, to a non-descript area filled with crates.

Notes

• This location was deprecated in the 24.12 release of the mod, along with Aren Manor.
• In the lower levels, an Argonian miner, Oleed-Tan, makes reference to a place called Neen. No explanation is given for what Neen is.
• In its 2021 form, Aren Eggmine is a good example of an 'all-rock' cave, built entirely out rock meshes, rather than cave pieces. While this can result in a more natural, realistic feel, it poses challenges for navigation - interrupting player movement and NPC/creature pathfinding.
