Moving Images[edit]
Good evening! If you upload an image with the wrong name, it would be easier to move it to the correct name instead of uploading a new version of the same image. You should be able to see the "move" tab at the top of any given page, near "edit". -MolagBallet (talk) 02:11, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you!! I have actually never really 'seen' that tab o.O I will learn all about it now ;) Hugs! Erorah (talk) 03:04, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Furnishing vendors[edit]
Hi, for File:ON-item-furnishing-Winter Cardinal Painting, In Progress.jpg the furnishing item cannot actually be purchased from a vendor. It's 100 writ vouchers for the recipe, not the furnishing. —Legoless (talk) 09:52, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you Legoless, indeed. What I was trying to show actually was that all these furnishing recipes come from somewhere - I think I should get this info on the Recipe page or at least make a note to the effect that the recipes are at suchandsuch.. [btw, you will find a WHOLE BUNCH like this.] Always looking for a better way :) — Unsigned comment by Erorah (talk • contribs) at 14:24 on 8 September 2021

Image Numbering[edit]
Glad to see you contributing to collections pages! Those are a handful. I also appreciate that you've started shooting the backs of some costumes: I've been meaning to start doing that myself, but I've got my hands full with the fronts/backs/sides of skins and making sure all of the pages I arranged to have set up are consistent, and every time I think about uploading three images of each costume, the fumes begin to wiggle.
I wanted to tell you about image numbering: I noticed a lot of the secondary images you've uploaded (both for furnishings and now costumes) go by a convention where the first of the extra images is marked with "1" (ON-category-thing 1.jpg for instance). This isn't consistent with the way images are numbered in the rest of the namespace. Generally, extra images get marked with "02" and above. So the first extra image is your 02 version (because it's the second image of the same subject), the next would be 03, and so on. Online:Molag Bal is an example of an NPC page gallery with numbering like this (see: ON-skill-Soul Burst 02 through 06), and Online:Astral Sheen is a Collectible page with this convention.
The skin pages are an excellent place to look at examples of how to number extraneous collectible images, especially since costumes use parentheses to indicate the gender of the model in a similar manner.
I am supremely grateful that we've got yet another hand slapping new images into Collections pages, and just wanted to clear things up so they can be consistent going forward!
(I also wanted to give you the opportunity to re-upload File:ON-costume-Sailor-at-Arms (Male).jpg over File:ON-costume-Sailor-at-Arms (male).jpg because the Capital M version is technically named incorrectly, but is of the proper aspect ratio: lowercase m-male and lowercase f-female are consistent with the rest of the Appearances collectibles, and there's a cleanimage tag on the lowercase m version because it's not 1:1.) -MolagBallet (talk) 00:08, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- OOF!! I cannot imagine all the incorrectly numbered images that I have already uploaded!! :(
- How might I rectify this first? I might ask RobinHood to use the bot to rename a pile of them? There might be 100 or more.
- Erorah (talk) 00:21, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
-
- That could work! I'm also in a mood (no negative connotations in that phrase: it's just a Mood) right now, so I'm perfectly equipped to track down every instance of numbered images lacking a zero up front. I have specialized keybinds and my user settings are equipped to show me over a thousand entries every time I go to view lists like User Contributions. I can be a bit of a bot myself: I enjoy cleanup and data entry tasks that most people would find tedious: if HoodBot doesn't get to it first, I'll be happily clicking away at funny-numbered entries. -MolagBallet (talk) 00:53, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
Merging Furnishing Pages with Their Respective Collections Pages[edit]
Good afternoon! Since you deal largely with our furniture pages, I have a proposal to make. Do you think it would be feasible to put furnishing data for pets/mounts on their collections pages as has been done with Aderene, Fargrave Dregs Dealer? I've merged Online:Aderene, Fargrave Dregs Dealer (collectible) with Online:Aderene, Fargrave Dregs Dealer and quite like the result. After seeing how pages like Squire Caw have been handled, I figured it might be useful to put everything in one place instead of directing users to different pages for the same item. -MolagBallet (talk) 23:11, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- I absolutely love the idea, and it is not the first time I have discussed this. We always say we *want* to do it, but it is a big undertaking atm. There are several pages like this:
- Mounts
- Non-Combat Pets
- Books (now with up to 3 pages!)
- Companions and Assistants
- Whatever you need from me I will do! We may still have problems with something like the Companions which have several iterations: before and after their quest, as a Companion, and as a furnishing. -Erorah (talk) 05:41, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
-
- Aces! I've created a sandbox to tinker around with formatting if you're interested in toying with it. Mounts and pets are tricky because there's a line between providing all the necessary data for the furnishing lists and maintaining the structural integrity of the Collections pages. My first thought on that front is "what if there was a parameter in the furnishing template that would hide the furnishing summary on mount and pet pages while maintaining the ability to send that data to the furnishing lists".
-
- However, it might be easier to just integrate furniture data into the Collections summary. Mounts and pets have their own spot in our furniture catalogue, and the Collections summary fills out most of those fields already. Adding furniture data to the Collections summary would remove the issue of having two infoboxes on one page battling each other on the aesthetic side and would probably be a rather easy job for HoodBot. I'll see if I can't mock something up in MSPaint and present it in Discord. -MolagBallet (talk) 19:07, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
Userpatroller[edit]
Hi Erorah. You've made an impressive show of edits since you joined in 2021. 20,000 edits! You've put a ton of work into the Online namespace, especially the furniture pages, keeping them updated so that UESP can continue being as comprehensive as it is with ESO content. It seems you've picked up the project where Lurlock left it, and with as much motivation. Matching the speed at which the devs put out new content is no easy task, and neither is keeping all of that content coverage consistent and filled out.
I would like to grant you the role of Userpatroller, as this is the first step toward becoming a full Patroller, which I hope you'll consider working toward. As a Userpatroller, you'll see red exclamation points on User: and User talk: pages. These edits have not been checked. By reviewing them to catch vandalism, users editing others' posts and user pages, and posts left unsigned, you can check off the exclamation mark and help contribute toward a fully reviewed wiki.
If you're not so sure about that responsibility, keep in mind that there is little expectation of activity. A team of semi-active userpatrollers is better than just two or three active ones. As an added benefit, even if you do nothing, your userspace edits are autopatrolled, so we don't necessarily have to review them. You've been on the wiki long enough to learn the rules outlined above, and we trust you to follow them. If you accept the role, I can grant it immediately. —Dillonn241 (talk) 04:06, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much Dillon, for this promotion. I accept wholeheartedly. I am interested in working toward Patroller one day, and will diligently strive to keep this Wiki's standards high. Erorah (talk) 04:49, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
-
- Glad to see you join the patrolling team! I've granted you the user rights. You will want to add the {{User Userspace Patroller}} userbox to your user page to identify yourself in this role and add yourself to the userpatroller category. If you need any help with the new features, I can help you on Discord or you can post on my talk page. —Dillonn241 (talk) 04:55, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Unused User Images[edit]
Hi Erorah. You have a bunch of unused user images, which appear under Special:Unusedfiles. You can see them all here. A lot of them look usable as regular ON-place images, so I didn't want to go marking them for deletion. What do you think? —Dillonn241 (talk) 02:54, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Actually, these images run at a POTD on my User Page. There are/may be places as images, but mostly decorating I have done. I can go through them, see what can go ;) Erorah (talk) 05:05, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
-
- Ah, I see. That's part of the reason I didn't want to mess with them, since your user page has a lot of advanced things going on. They can be removed from the unused list by using the {{Linked Image}} template. No need to remove any. —Dillonn241 (talk) 05:39, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
-
-
- I think I fixed all of your images. Just a reminder to add that tag if you add to your collection. That way, they won't appear in the maintenance list. —Dillonn241 (talk) 05:48, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

Maps[edit]
Hey, I just wanted to let you know you can find the maps for ESO houses here. You don't need to take screenshots of the maps in-game. -MolagBallet (talk) 02:04, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
Patroller[edit]
Congratulations, you're now a full patroller. Don't forget to update the userbox on your page. – Robin Hood (talk) 01:12, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
