Welcome[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. I noticed that you have made a number of improvements to the wiki. We really appreciate it.

If you have not already seen them, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

You are leaving good edit summaries to explain the changes you have made, thanks. Other standard tips given to people who recently create accounts are: Remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact me (though I'm fairly new myself, I can probably point you in the right direction if you have a question that I can't answer) or one of our mentors. Have fun!

In case you are not watching the talk page for "With Friends Like these...", please see the comment I made about one of your contributions here. --JRTalk E-mail 03:57, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you! I'll definitely be using that A LOT! Also, I apologize for the edit.. I only did a small google search on the differences and was still in doubt after all was said and done. I definitely try to stick with fixing spelling and other obvious assorted typos for that reason :P Nutinurmacaroni 04:30, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
No apology needed at all. I only wanted to say that the original wasn't an "error", I guess only for the sake of my personal pride. But it did not upset me in any way, not at all. Before I wrote your welcome page, I took a quick look at most of your edits, and they are just the kind of thing that the wiki really needs and appreciates. I do not want to discourage you in any way from improving pages when you think you can improve them. You do not have to do research to try to make sure that your choices are perfect! In the end, "in doing so" or "in so doing" does not matter at all to me, and we have decided (so far) to keep your change. To be very clear: You should still make changes any time you feel that they are better or that they are corrections. If someone disagrees strongly enough, they will make another change. That's how a wiki works! If you ever feel really unsure about something, you can always ask others for an opinion. You will start to make friends here if you keep participating, and there are tons of great people on here willing to share their thoughts (most of them with a lot more experience and knowledge than me). If you are ever not sure how or where to ask a question, or if you ask one somewhere and don't get any response, please feel welcome to ask me on my talk page or by email. --JRTalk E-mail 12:52, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
