Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Tisia on the top floor of the Anvil Guild of Mages about undead at Strand.
2. (Optional) Speak to Beran Volurian in his Archad home to receive the Strand Key.
3. Clear the undead from Strand, northeast of Archad.
4. Report in to Tisia.

Detailed Walkthrough

Tisia wants you to eradicate the undead inhabiting the old fort of Strand, near Archad. Archad's most easily reached by boat from Anvil (speak to Saquerilla at the docks opposite the main gate), but you can also walk to it by following the Strid River (ie, the waterway that empties into the sea south of Anvil) inland. Strand itself is just northeast of Archad. Archad's Reeve, Beran Volurian, can give you a key to the entrance, but your first challenge will be the bear parked on top of the trapdoor leading inside.

Once the bear is dead, clear the ruins beyond the trapdoor. Your journal will update as soon as the last undead soldier within has perished. You can inform Beran if you wish - gaining +20 disposition from him, but you don't need to. Return to Tisia when ready to complete the quest.
